Music has always played a prominent role in my life. I Play guitar since the age of 13, and have participated in many bands and music/theater productions. In my early years I considered myself a typical rock guitarist, but over the years my musical taste has changed. I now have a great love for acoustic Jazz & instrumental music, because in my opinion that’s where you can hear the best players and improvisors. And improvisation is the coolest thing in the world!
Although the music of Wishballoon is definitely more pop oriented than Jazz or Instrumental, it still has this open sound, that allows me to play almost anything I like, at any moment. And that’s why it’s so much fun to play in Wishballoon. I like surprises and therefor I never play a song exactly the same way twice.
